Depending on your email provider, we use different secure protocols to connect to your inbox. For Gmail, we use a protocol called OAuth2, which lets you "grant" Inbox Zapper access to your mailbox and "revoke" it at any time, directly from your Google account. We never see or store your password.

Your access details are encrypted and never shared with any third party. They're not available to anyone at Inbox Zapper — they're only used to scan your inbox and carry out the actions you've chosen, like unsubscribing or deleting unwanted emails.

Never. Many "free" inbox cleaners make their money by selling your information to advertisers. Inbox Zapper doesn't — we charge a fair price for our service, so there's no advertising in our app and no reason to monetize your data.

We will never share, give away, sell, or "anonymize" your data — including your email address, the addresses found in your mailbox, or your email content and attachments.

Inbox Zapper recognizes newsletters and mailing lists by looking at signals like the sender, the subject line, and the small bits of info every newsletter carries to identify itself. That's enough to spot what's clutter and what isn't — without reading the content of your personal or work emails.

You're always in control. Inbox Zapper shows you exactly what will be unsubscribed or deleted before anything happens — nothing is done automatically. If you do delete something by mistake, it stays in your trash for 30 days and can be restored at any time. And if you change your mind about a sender, you can resubscribe whenever you want.

Yes. You can connect several email accounts to Inbox Zapper: Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Live, and Copilot. You can clean each one separately which makes it easy to manage personal, work, and other inboxes all in one place.
